Target Information
The Annexin A3 (ANXA3) gene encodes a member of the annexin family, a group of calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding proteins involved in cellular growth regulation and signal transduction. This protein inhibits phospholipase A2 and catalyzes the conversion of inositol 1,2-cyclic phosphate to inositol 1-phosphate. It may also play a role in anti-coagulation.
