For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Estrogen Receptors (ER) belong to the steroid/thyroid hormone receptor superfamily of nuclear receptors.
ERs are ligand-activated transcription factors that, upon binding to estrogen, undergo conformational changes enabling dimerization and DNA binding to estrogen response elements (EREs).
ERs regulate gene transcription positively or negatively through coactivator or corepressor recruitment.
Two forms exist—alpha (ESR1) and beta (ESR2)—encoded by separate genes.
At least four alpha isoforms are known (66 kDa, 53 kDa, 47 kDa, 35 kDa).
ERs are essential for sexual development, reproductive function, and play roles in bone and other tissues.
They are implicated in diseases such as breast cancer, endometrial cancer, and osteoporosis.
