Target Information
PCNA (polymerase delta auxiliary protein)은 DNA 복제에 필수적이며, DNA 절제 및 불일치 복구 경로에 관여합니다.
PCNA는 CDK 억제제 p21, 구조 특이적 엔도뉴클레이즈 Fen1 및 XPG, DNA cytosine 5-methyltransferase (MCMT)와 결합합니다.
세포 증식 잠재력을 가진 세포의 표지자로 유용하며, 종양 조직의 증식 상태를 평가하는 데 사용됩니다.
PCNA는 세포주기 초기 G1기 및 S기에 존재하며, 핵 내에서 DNA polymerase delta의 보조인자로 작용합니다.
DNA 손상 시 PCNA는 유비퀴틴화되어 RAD6 의존적 DNA 복구 경로에 관여합니다.
PCNA에 대해 동일 단백질을 암호화하는 두 가지 전사 변이가 보고되었으며, 염색체 4 및 X 염색체에 위유전자가 존재합니다.
