Product Specific Information

The N418 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD11c, the integrin alphaX, which associates with beta2 integrin to form the CD11c/CD18 heterodimer. CD11c is expressed by dendritic cells, subsets of intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL), and some activated T cells. It binds to CD54, iC3b, and fibrinogen, playing a role in leukocyte adhesion.

Each product includes:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes
Applications Tested: ≤0.4 µg/test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)

Important Notes:

• NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., PI, 7-AAD, DAPI).
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability assays.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) must be added (5 µL/sample) for optimal staining.
• Add buffer to antibody cocktails before combining with cells.

• CD11c: Expressed in monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, some granulocytes, and a subset of lymphocytes
