Target Information
INSR는 receptor tyrosine kinase로, 인슐린이 결합하면 세포 내 포도당 흡수를 유도합니다. INSR과 IGF-1 수용체는 구조적·기능적으로 유사하며, 인슐린 자극 시 INSR의 tyrosine 잔기 자가 인산화가 초기 반응으로 나타납니다. 인간의 INSR 유전자는 염색체 19에 위치하며, INSR 결함은 다양한 인슐린 저항성 증후군의 원인이 됩니다. 또한 IGF-1R 결함은 성장 지연을 일으킬 수 있습니다.
