Target Information
Histone H3는 모든 진핵세포의 염색질에서 발견되는 DNA 결합 단백질 중 하나입니다. H3는 네 가지 핵심 히스톤과 함께 DNA에 결합하여 뉴클레오솜 구조를 형성합니다. 히스톤은 전사 조절, DNA 복구, 복제 및 염색체 안정성 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
히스톤은 번역 후 다양한 방식으로 변형되어 염색질 구조를 직접 변화시키거나 특정 전사 인자의 결합을 조절합니다. 특히 히스톤 H3의 N-말단 꼬리는 여러 형태의 번역 후 변형을 거쳐 세포 기능에 영향을 줍니다. 이러한 변형에는 리신 및 아르기닌 잔기에 대한 메틸화 또는 아세틸화, 세린 또는 트레오닌 잔기의 인산화가 포함됩니다.
