Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Kallikrein 8 and less than 5% cross-reactivity with rhKallikrein 11, rhKallikrein 14, and rhKallikrein 15 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases implicated in carcinogenesis.
The KLK gene, KLK-L4, is expressed in various tissues including prostate, salivary gland, breast, and testis.
Its expression is regulated by steroid hormones in breast cancer cell lines and may be involved in the pathogenesis and/or progression of breast cancer.
