Target Information
Apolipoprotein H (Beta-2-Glycoprotein 1) is involved in lipoprotein metabolism, coagulation, and the production of antiphospholipid autoantibodies. It may act as a cofactor for anionic phospholipid binding by antiphospholipid autoantibodies found in patients with lupus and primary antiphospholipid syndrome, but not necessarily for those associated with infections.
