Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
TET3 is a methylcytosine dioxygenase belonging to the ten-eleven-translocation (TET) family. It catalyzes the conversion of methylcytosine to 5-hydroxymethylcytosine and is predominantly expressed in hematopoietic cells.
Unlike TET2, mutations in TET3 have not been associated with myeloid malignancies. TET3 plays a role in zygotic DNA demethylation before the first mitosis and contributes to epigenetic reprogramming of paternal DNA following fertilization, as well as somatic cell nuclear reprogramming during cloning.
