Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
TET3 is a methylcytosine dioxygenase belonging to the ten-eleven-translocation (TET) family. It catalyzes the conversion of methylcytosine to 5-hydroxymethylcytosine and is highly expressed in hematopoietic cells.
Unlike TET2, TET3 mutations have not been linked to myeloid malignancies. TET3 is involved in DNA demethylation during early embryonic development and may play a role in epigenetic reprogramming of zygotic paternal DNA after fertilization, as well as in somatic cell nuclear reprogramming during animal cloning.
