Target Information
PAX5는 paired box (PAX) 전사인자 패밀리에 속하며, 초기 발달의 중요한 조절 인자입니다.
이 단백질은 B세포 계통 특이적 활성 단백질(BSAP)로, B세포 분화의 초기 단계에서 발현되며 후기 단계에서는 발현되지 않습니다.
또한, PAX5는 중추신경계(CNS) 및 고환에서도 발현되어 신경 발달 및 정자 형성에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
유전자 변이는 백혈병 및 급성 림프모구성 백혈병과 관련이 있을 수 있습니다.
