Target Information
CCR4-NOT Transcription Complex 2 (CNOT2) is a component of the CCR4-NOT complex, a major cellular mRNA deadenylase involved in processes such as mRNA degradation, miRNA-mediated repression, translational repression, and transcriptional regulation.
CNOT2 contributes to structural integrity of the CCR4-NOT complex, represses transcription via the N-Cor repressor complex (HDAC3, NCOR1, NCOR2), and plays a role in maintaining embryonic stem cell identity. (UniProt)
