CCR4-NOT Transcription Complex 2 (CNOT2)는 CCR4-NOT 복합체의 구성 요소로, 주요 세포 내 mRNA deadenylase 중 하나입니다. 이는 mRNA 분해, miRNA 매개 억제, 번역 개시 시점의 억제, 전사 조절 등 다양한 세포 과정에 관여합니다. 또한 CNOT2는 CCR4-NOT 복합체의 구조적 안정성 유지에 필요하며, 전사 억제 기능을 가질 수 있습니다. 이 억제 기능은 HDAC3, NCOR1, NCOR2를 포함하는 N-Cor 억제 복합체와 관련될 수 있습니다.
