CCR4-NOT Transcription Complex 2 (CNOT2)는 세포 내 주요 mRNA deadenylase 복합체인 CCR4-NOT complex의 구성 요소로, mRNA 분해, miRNA 매개 억제, 번역 개시 단계의 억제, 전사 조절 등 다양한 세포 과정에 관여합니다. CNOT2는 복합체의 구조적 안정성을 유지하는 데 필수적이며, 전사를 억제하고 N-Cor repressor complex(HDAC3, NCOR1, NCOR2 포함)와 연관될 수 있습니다. 또한 배아줄기세포(ES cell) 정체성 유지에도 관여합니다. (UniProt)
