TTI1은 DNA 손상 반응(DDR)의 조절자로, PIKK 계열 단백질의 안정화를 위해 필요한 TTT 복합체의 구성 요소입니다.
TTT 복합체는 이온화 방사선(IR), 자외선(UV), 미토마이신 C(MMC) 등 DNA 손상 스트레스에 대한 세포 저항성에 관여합니다.
또한 HSP90과 함께 PIKK 단백질의 올바른 접힘에 기여하며, mTORC1 및 mTORC2 복합체의 조립과 안정성 유지에 관여하여 세포 성장 및 생존 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
