• Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double-distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
• The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
• For long-term storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

SSTR2 (Somatostatin Receptor 2) is a member of the seven-transmembrane receptor superfamily, expressed predominantly in the cerebrum and kidney. Somatostatin regulates the release of various hormones and secretory proteins. The receptor couples to pertussis toxin-sensitive G proteins to inhibit adenylyl cyclase activity.
