Target Information
IFIT2 belongs to the IFIT family and contains 6 TPR repeats. IFIT genes comprise a large family with three (Ifit1, Ifit2, Ifit3) members in mice and four (IFIT1, IFIT2, IFIT3, IFIT5) in humans. IFIT proteins are induced during viral infection, interferon (IFN) treatment, and pathogen recognition, contributing to antiviral immunity.
