Target Information
The DLC1 gene encodes a GTPase-activating protein belonging to the rhoGAP family, which regulates small GTP-binding proteins involved in cytoskeletal changes. This gene functions as a tumor suppressor in several common cancers, including prostate, lung, colorectal, and breast cancers. Multiple transcript variants exist due to alternative promoters and splicing.
