ADCYAP1 (Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide 1)
이 단백질은 adenylate cyclase activating polypeptide 1 수용체를 통해 작용하며, adenylate cyclase를 자극하여 표적 세포 내 cAMP 수준을 증가시킵니다.
또한, 뇌하수체 자극 호르몬으로서뿐만 아니라 신경전달물질 및 신경조절인자로 기능하며, 특정 세포 유형의 파라크린 및 오토크린 조절에도 관여합니다.
이 유전자는 두 가지 이소형을 포함한 세 가지 성숙 펩타이드를 암호화합니다.
