Applied Biosystems™ KaryoStat™ HD Assay Plus
The KaryoStat™ HD Assay Plus provides high-resolution, whole-genome coverage and genotyping (sample ID) for accurate detection of chromosomal abnormalities. The assay achieves greater than 99% sensitivity, reliably detecting 25–50 kb copy number changes across the genome with high specificity supported by SNP allelic corroboration.
These high-density SNPs enable visualization of low-level mosaicism, identification of absence of heterozygosity (AOH), copy number changes, and genomic contamination for research use. With over 2.6 million copy number markers, the KaryoStat HD Assay covers all OMIM™ and RefSeq genes.
Proprietary manufacturing technology ensures high reproducibility between batches with no risk of probe dropout, unlike bead-based methods. The assay includes arrays, reagents, and user-friendly data analysis software for efficient and cost-effective analysis of pluripotent stem cell lines.
KaryoStat HD Assay Plus also includes an amplification module sufficient for 96 reactions.
