Target Information
RNA polymerase II는 mRNA 및 다양한 비암호화 RNA의 합성을 담당하는 효소입니다. POLR2A는 RNA polymerase II의 가장 큰 소단위인 subunit B1 (RPB1)을 암호화합니다. RPB1의 C-terminal domain (CTD)은 YSPTSPS로 구성된 반복 서열을 포함하며, 이 서열 내의 인산화 및 기타 변형은 전사 주기를 조절하는 인자의 결합에 영향을 미칩니다. Serine-2 및 Serine-5 잔기의 인산화는 전사 연장 복합체에 RNA 처리 인자를 모집하는 데 중요한 역할을 합니다.
