이 항체는 144 kDa의 당단백질로, 인간 중쇄 및 경쇄 상수영역 유전자와 마우스 가변영역 유전자를 포함한 플라스미드를 발현하도록 유전적으로 조작된 마우스 골수종 세포주에서 생산됩니다.
Basiliximab은 IL-2 수용체의 α-서브유닛(CD25)에 고친화도로 결합하여 IL-2 결합을 저해하고, T세포 활성화를 억제함으로써 면역 반응을 차단합니다.
