• The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
• For long-term storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Neurotrophic factors regulate the survival, differentiation, and maintenance of neurons in the peripheral and central nervous systems, as well as other neural crest-derived cell types. Developing sympathetic neurons are dependent on nerve growth factor (NGF) during target competition in vivo.
Antibodies specific to NGFR p75 are valuable for detecting and characterizing NGFR p75, aiding studies of nervous system development, plasticity, and repair.
