Target Information
IL-15 (Interleukin 15)은 T세포 및 NK세포의 활성화와 증식을 조절하는 사이토카인입니다. IL-15와 IL-2는 공통 수용체 서브유닛에 결합하며 상호 작용하여 CD8+ 메모리 세포의 수를 조절합니다.
IL-15는 JAK 키나아제 활성화 및 STAT3, STAT5, STAT6의 인산화를 유도하며, Bcl-xL 발현을 증가시켜 세포사멸을 억제할 수 있습니다.
이 단백질은 T 및 B 림프구, NK세포, 대식세포, 단핵구의 성장과 분화에 중요한 역할을 하며, 면역 반응, 이식편 거부, 자가면역 질환의 발병과 관련이 있습니다.
또한 류머티즘성 관절염, 건선, 폐 염증 질환 등 다양한 염증성 질환에 관여하며, IL-15 중화가 치료적 효과를 나타낼 수 있다는 연구 결과가 보고되고 있습니다.
