Target Information
IL-15 (Interleukin 15)은 T 세포와 자연살해(NK) 세포의 활성화 및 증식을 조절하는 사이토카인입니다. IL-15와 IL-2는 공통 수용체 서브유닛을 공유하며 상호 경쟁적으로 작용할 수 있습니다. IL-15는 JAK 키나아제 활성화 및 STAT3, STAT5, STAT6의 인산화 및 활성화를 유도합니다. 또한, 세포 내 항아포토시스 단백질 Bcl-xL의 발현을 증가시켜 세포 사멸을 억제할 수 있습니다.
IL-15는 T 및 B 림프구, NK 세포, 대식세포, 단핵구의 성장과 분화에 중요한 역할을 하며, 면역 반응, 이식 거부, 자가면역 질환의 병태생리에 관여합니다. 또한 류마티스 관절염, 건선, 폐 염증 질환 등 다양한 염증성 질환에서 발현되며, IL-15 중화가 건선 및 당뇨 모델에서 유익한 효과를 보인다는 연구가 있습니다.
