Target Information
DR6 (Death Receptor 6) is widely expressed in human tissues and cell lines. Although its ligand has not been identified, apoptosis can be induced by cytokines such as TNF and Fas ligand through death domain-containing receptors TNF-R1 and Fas. DR6, a newly identified member of the TNFR family, interacts with the adapter molecule TRADD, and its overexpression induces apoptosis and activates NF-kappa-B and JNK signaling pathways.
