Background
The protein encoded by this gene contains a RING finger motif, which is known to be involved in protein-DNA and protein-protein interactions. The mouse counterpart of this protein interacts with Ube2l3/UbcM4, an ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme involved in embryonic development.
