Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

The SHPK gene encodes a protein with weak homology to carbohydrate kinases, which phosphorylate sugars entering cells. Variations in sequence suggest differences in substrate, cofactor, or kinetic properties compared to other carbohydrate kinases. This gene is located in a region often deleted in cystinosis patients, implying a possible role as a modifier in cystinosis phenotype. The genomic region contains numerous Alu repeats associated with chromosomal rearrangements.
