Phospho-LIMK1 (Ser323) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of LIMK1 only when phosphorylated at Ser323.

Target Information

LIMK1 is a serine/threonine kinase involved in regulation of actin cytoskeletal changes via phosphorylation of cofilin. LIMK1 also plays a role in brain development. LIM domains are highly conserved cysteine-rich structures containing two zinc fingers, which mediate protein-protein interactions. LIM kinase-1 and LIM kinase-2 form a small subfamily characterized by two N-terminal LIM motifs and a C-terminal kinase domain. LIMK1 hemizygosity has been linked to impaired visuospatial constructive cognition in Williams syndrome.
