Target Information
CKLF (Chemokine-Like Factor) is a cytokine belonging to a cluster of chemokine-like factor genes on chromosome 16. It acts as a potent chemoattractant for neutrophils, monocytes, and lymphocytes, and can stimulate proliferation of skeletal muscle cells. CKLF may play important roles in inflammation and skeletal muscle regeneration. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
