Target Information
Vepalimomab is a biosimilar antibody that targets AOC3. Copper amine oxidases catalyze the oxidative conversion of amines to aldehydes in the presence of copper and quinone cofactors. The target protein is a major component of the adipocyte plasma membrane, exhibiting adhesive properties and functional monoamine oxidase activity. A pseudogene for this gene is located approximately 9 kb downstream.
