CD46 (MCP, membrane cofactor protein)은 세포 표면에 존재하는 다기능성 막 단백질로, C3b 및 C4b 보체 단편을 결합·비활성화합니다. 또한 T 세포 매개 염증 반응을 조절하며, 일부 병원체(세균 및 바이러스)의 수용체로 작용합니다. CD46은 태반 조직 보호에 관여하고, 정자 내부의 acrosomal 막에도 발현됩니다.
