Product Specific Information

This peptide corresponds to a 17 amino acid sequence near the carboxy terminus of human LRRFIP2.
PEP-1229 can be used as a blocking peptide with polyclonal antibody PA5-21115.

Target Information

The leucine-rich repeat FLI-I-interacting protein 2 (LRRFIP2), similar to LRRFIP1, was identified through a yeast two-hybrid system by binding to the LRR domain of human FLI.
LRRFIP2 activates the Wnt signaling pathway in cultured cells and modulates Wnt signaling via interactions with Disheveled, increasing cellular levels and transcriptional activity of beta-catenin.
It also functions as a positive regulator of the TLR4 signaling pathway, activating NF-kappa-B during early host response to LPS stimulation through binding to MyD88. This interaction is regulated by phosphorylation of specific residues in LRRFIP2.
