Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These antibodies are generated from specific genes coding for the desired antibody, cloned into an expression vector, and expressed in vitro.
Advantages include improved specificity and consistent performance across lots.
It is recommended to titrate the antibody for optimal performance in your specific assay.

Target Information

OPRM1 (Mu Opioid Receptor) is the primary receptor for many opioids, including morphine, heroin, fentanyl, and methadone. It also binds endogenous opioid peptides such as beta-endorphin and enkephalins.
OPRM1 belongs to the G protein-coupled receptor family and is one of three main opioid receptor types—mu, kappa, and delta—each with distinct pharmacological profiles.
