Target Information
MARK1 (MAP/microtubule affinity-regulating kinase 1) belongs to the MARK family of serine/threonine kinases. These kinases phosphorylate microtubule-associated proteins and may play a role in cytoskeletal stability.
MARK2 (EMK1) is involved in the control of cell polarity, microtubule stability, and cancer. MARK3 is induced by DNA damage and its loss is associated with pancreatic carcinogenesis. MARK4 contains multiple functional domains and is upregulated in hepatocellular carcinoma cells.
