Target Information
EPHB2는 ephrin receptor family에 속하는 receptor tyrosine kinase입니다. Eph family의 kinase들은 신경계 발달, 혈관형성, 신경 시냅스의 형성과 성숙 등 다양한 생물학적 과정에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
Ephrins은 구조 및 서열 유사성에 따라 ephrin-A (EFNA)와 ephrin-B (EFNB) 두 그룹으로 나뉘며, ephrin-A는 GPI 링크로 막에 부착되고 ephrin-B는 막관통 단백질입니다. Eph receptor는 extracellular domain 서열의 유사성과 ephrin-A/B 리간드 결합 친화도에 따라 두 그룹으로 구분됩니다. EphB4는 ephrin-B2와 결합하여 혈관 발달에 필수적인 역할을 합니다.
