IGFBP2 (insulin-like growth factor binding protein 2)는 다양한 IGF에 결합하는 ISGBP 패밀리의 구성원입니다. IGFBP2는 신경교종, 전립선암, 활막육종, 신경모세포종, 대장암, 부신피질암, 폐암, 윌름스 종양, 간모세포종 등 다양한 암에서 과발현되며, 일부 종양의 공격성과 상관관계를 보입니다. 또한 IGFBP2는 세포 침습성에 기여하는 matrix metalloprotease 2의 발현을 활성화합니다.
