Target Information
This gene belongs to the XAGE subfamily of the GAGE family. GAGE genes are expressed in various tumors and fetal or reproductive tissues. XAGE2 is strongly expressed in normal testis, Ewing’s sarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, breast cancer, and germ cell tumors. The protein shares sequence similarity with other GAGE/PAGE proteins and is classified as a cancer-testis (CT) antigen.
