14-3-3 gamma는 인산화 세린을 포함하는 단백질에 결합하여 신호전달을 매개하는 14-3-3 단백질군에 속합니다. 이 단백질군은 식물과 포유류 모두에서 발견되며, rat ortholog와 100% 동일합니다. 인간 혈관 평활근세포에서 성장인자에 의해 유도되며, 골격근 및 심근에서 높은 발현을 보여 근육 조직에서 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 추정됩니다. 또한 RAF1 및 protein kinase C와 상호작용하여 다양한 신호전달 경로에 관여합니다.
