Target Information
Zyxin은 세포가 세포외 기질에 부착할 수 있도록 하는 actin-rich 구조인 focal adhesion에 관여하며, 신호전달 복합체가 조립되는 부위입니다. Zyxin은 zinc-binding phosphoprotein으로서 focal adhesion과 actin cytoskeleton에 집중되어 있습니다. N-말단에는 proline-rich domain, C-말단에는 세 개의 LIM domain을 가지며, 각각 신호전달 단백질의 SH3 domain 및 단백질-단백질 결합에 관여합니다. Zyxin은 부착 자극에 의해 유도되는 유전자 발현 변화에 관여하는 신호전달 메신저 역할을 할 수 있으며, actin bundle의 세포골격 구조를 조절할 수 있습니다. 대체 스플라이싱으로 동일한 isoform을 암호화하는 여러 전사 변형체가 생성됩니다.
