Target Information
ERp72 is an endoplasmic reticulum luminal protein that functions as both a stress protein and a member of the protein disulfide isomerase family. Sequence analysis indicates similarity with PDI in three distinct regions and includes the ER retention signal KEEL at its C-terminus. ERp72 contains three CGHC-containing active sites, critical for disulfide isomerization, suggesting its role as a molecular chaperone within the CGHC-containing protein family.
