Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
NAA20 is the catalytic subunit of the NatB complex, responsible for acetylation of N-terminal methionine residues of peptides beginning with Met-Asp, Met-Glu, Met-Asn, and Met-Gln. It plays a key role in maintaining the structure and function of actomyosin fibers and in proper cellular migration. Proteins involved in cell cycle regulation are often among the NatB substrates.
