Target Information
GRAIL은 endocytic pathway에 위치하는 type I transmembrane 단백질로, PA domain과 RING-type zinc finger domain을 포함합니다. 이 단백질은 CD4(+) T 세포 anergy 유도에 필요한 ubiquitin-protein isopeptide ligase (E3)로 작용합니다. Anergic CD4(+) T 세포에서 발현이 증가하며, T regulatory cell의 조절적 표현형 전환에 관여합니다. 또한 retroviral transduction된 T cell hybridoma에서 IL-2 및 IL-4 생성 억제 기능을 수행합니다. GRAIL은 dorsal ectoderm의 패턴 형성과 neural-inducing signal 반응 감작에도 관여합니다.
