Target Information
BID는 세포 사멸을 유도하는 단백질로, BAX 또는 BCL2와 이합체를 형성합니다. BID는 BCL-2 패밀리의 구성원으로, caspase-8 (CASP8)에 의해 절단되어 미토콘드리아 손상을 매개합니다. 절단된 BID의 C-말단 조각(p15)은 미토콘드리아로 이동하여 cytochrome c 방출을 유도하고, 세포 사멸을 촉진합니다. BID는 caspase-8 활성화와 미토콘드리아 사멸 기전 사이의 직접적인 분자적 연결 고리 역할을 합니다.
