Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
UCK1 phosphorylates uridine and cytidine to uridine monophosphate and cytidine monophosphate.
It does not phosphorylate deoxyribonucleosides or purine ribonucleosides.
Can use ATP or GTP as phosphate donors and also phosphorylates cytidine and uridine nucleoside analogs such as:
- 6-azauridine
- 5-fluorouridine
- 4-thiouridine
- 5-bromouridine
- N(4)-acetylcytidine
- N(4)-benzoylcytidine
- 5-fluorocytidine
- 2-thiocytidine
- 5-methylcytidine
- N(4)-anisoylcytidine
