Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene plays important roles in the determination of centrosome position and segregation, as well as in microtubule severing. It localizes to the centrosome of interphase cells and redistributes to the spindle pole region during mitosis, reflecting the dynamic behavior of the centrosome throughout the cell cycle.
