Target Information
Rkhd4 (also known as MEX3A) is a member of the MEX3 protein family, containing two KH RNA-binding domains and one C-terminal RING finger module. These phosphoproteins shuttle between nucleus and cytoplasm via the CRM1 pathway and are involved in post-transcriptional regulation. Rkhd3 and Rkhd4 co-localize with hDcp1a and Argonaute proteins in P bodies, centers of mRNA turnover. The physiological function of Rkhd4 remains unknown.
