This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide (final concentration 0.05–0.1%) to prevent contamination.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Leukocytes adhere to the blood vessel endothelium during extravasation in postcapillary venules of lymph nodes and at sites of inflammation. This process involves adhesion receptors from the selectin and immunoglobulin superfamilies.
E-selectin (CD62E) is an endothelial cell-specific selectin expressed after activation by proinflammatory cytokines such as IL-1, TNFα, and bacterial lipopolysaccharides, through an NFκB-dependent cascade.
It plays a key role in leukocyte adhesion to the vascular endothelium during inflammatory responses.
