Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The DTNB gene encodes dystrobrevin beta, a component of the dystrophin-associated protein complex (DPC).
The DPC includes dystrophin, dystroglycans, sarcoglycans, syntrophins, and dystrobrevin alpha/beta, localizing to the sarcolemma.
Disruption of this complex is associated with various muscular dystrophies.
Dystrobrevin beta interacts with syntrophin and the DP71 short form of dystrophin.
Alternatively spliced variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
