This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening of individual clones to select optimal candidates for production.

This antibody specifically recognizes Human RhoA.

Target Information

RhoA regulates signal transduction pathways linking plasma membrane receptors to focal adhesion and actin stress fiber assembly. It is involved in microtubule-dependent signaling required for myosin contractile ring formation during cytokinesis and plays an essential role in cleavage furrow formation.

RhoA is necessary for apical junction formation in keratinocyte adhesion and serves as a target for the yopT cysteine peptidase from Yersinia pestis and Yersinia pseudotuberculosis. It stimulates PKN2 kinase activity and may activate PLCE1.

Activated by ARHGEF2, RhoA promotes GDP-GTP exchange and is essential for SPATA13-mediated cell migration regulation. The MEMO1–RHOA–DIAPH1 pathway contributes to ERBB2-dependent microtubule stabilization at the cell cortex. It controls APC and CLASP2 localization via GSK3B regulation, and membrane-bound APC allows MACF1 localization required for microtubule capture and stabilization.
